I was supposed to get only 2 boxes of Making Memories Paints but the colors are so BEAUTIFUL. Got them so CHEAP, only 7.79 per box. Oh my.....when I saw them, I'm thinking to get all colors. GOSH!!!

VALENTINE

This is my first attempt to join the traditional LO for KAYA challenge. My previous one was made through digital one. When I heard about ephemera, there is no turning point to back off. I love ephemera, simply because I love to keep and treasure anything that can remind me of something in the past. Memories should be cherished for a lifetime.

Techniques:

Double Matt my focal photo, cut the other remaining photos. Cut the scrolls for my borders. Brushed it with glittered nail polish. Add the roses on the different area of the scrolls. Glued it with a foam tape. Cut the circles using the Coluzzle Circle Companion. Add the daisy flowers
and polish it with glittered nail polish. Cut an arrow using the Arrows die cut (courtesy of Elizabeth) and embellish it Reeves Glitter glue. Cut out VALENTINE and HAPPY from Sizzlit Funky Brush Put the Hallmark Valentine Card inside for my hidden journal. Distress the
white BG paper with Dune Colorbox. Add 1 photo, put my personal message to my hubby and stamp it with hearts. Wrap with brown ribbons.

Scrappin Moms Idol Challenge - Elimination Round

This is the layout I made for the Scrappin Moms Idol Challenge. I really don't want to join this challenge, but since Joanne Yap is one of the few scrappers who introduce me well about the techniques regarding this expensive hobby.

Why I pick Ms. Leah Fung?
I choose her simple because she is Filipino and family oriented. Her scrapbook style is down to earth, pleasing to the eye, and with a design style that's sure to last for a lifetime. Since I'm into cross-stitching, I love sewing my LO also. Same as my idol, I like to use different pattern papers to mix and match. Less embellishments and more on papers.

Welcome To World Baby Bennet

My sister in law Joan gave birth to my 2nd "pamangkin" from my side. He was so cute like his brother, my inaanak Tyler. I'm so happy for you Joan, after all the trials that your family had been through, God still shower you with a wonderful blessings. I thank God for guiding you during your entire pregnancy. Hopefully and God willingly, I'm next in line to get pregnant. Miss our long talks.

P.S. Don't quit scrapbooking. It's fun and addictive once you started to work on your layout. Go girl and try it.

Digital LO for our 10th Inaanak

I made these layouts for our "inaanak". Ivie Nyrelle will be celebrating her 1st birthday and christening. Her parents are Norson and I-Chun Adiong. Since I'm into digital scrapbooking, I decided that this will be a nice gift for her. The 8 layouts took me 2 weeks to finish them.

Thank You Lord - Don Moen Concert

It was July 28 that time when we watched Don Moen concert at Araneta. It was raining hard that time (God Is Good!!) but we still manage to go and see the concert. (Thanks to my sister in law and her hubby for the ride and the ticket as well.) This is our first Christian concert that we watch after I convert to Christian believer last May 2006. I love the way Don Moen and his band sing praises to God. He sang his all time favorite like Blessed Be The Name Of The Lord, Celebrate Jesus, Give Thanks, God Is Good All The Time, Heal Me O Lord and others. I can totally feel God's presence during that time. I believe being a Christian is really hard but my faith will continue to be stronger each day as face my everyday challenges. To God Be The Glory.

My First Baby Digital LO

Finally, I was able to create a digital LO for myself. The colors looks so sweet and adorable. This is one of my favorite not because it was my baby picture but I'm really inspired when I'm doing it. I had done this layout in less than an hour. Hmmm.... marathon to the max. Oh wait, Am I cute?

New Friendship

Deedee and I met last January 22, 2007. From a formal meeting at Wendy's regarding my website, turns to be a casual talks everyday. New friendship were developed between the two of us. Days won't be complete without talking to one another for our daily updates. Thanks to SUN's UNLIMITED TEXT and CALL we owe a big one from your company. Chinese and Filipina can go together as long as they had same interest COMPUTER, SCRAPBOOKING, HOARDERS and SHOPPING ONLINE. Our friendship became deeper each day. We shared ideas regarding our layouts, opinions about the site we surfed with and family matter. She is my shopping partner. So up to date with new stuffs and technique in the market. My Adobe Photoshop teacher, she was the one who introduced me about brushes and other techniques regarding the software. Computer Wizard! The Big Day - Anniversary LO

I made this digital layout for my beloved husband during our 5th wedding anniversary. I was supposed to surprise him by printing it over and put it in frame but unluckily I wasn't able to do it. So I just send this layout to his email and when Erwin saw this LO , he turn his head to me and said Well done and "galing daw nya magturo"

Exactly 5 years ago, June 23, 2002 at San Agustine Church, two hearts were united in one soul, exchanged I do’s and vows in front of God as a witness of our everlasting love. I thank you Erwin for being good provider in all our needs. Understanding is one the one of reason why I keep on loving you. As we continue our journey as husband and wife, I’m praying to our Lord Almighty to continue to guide our path and continue to grow each day. Caricature

When I was doing this layout, I got inspired with my hubby Erwin. He is a support type that never complains on everything that I do, the things that I bought and everything I want. For him whatever what makes me happy he will support me all the way. The feeling is the same between the two of us, we follow give and take format in our relationship. Even though there is no perfect marriage but we are trying to make it a reality.

When the holiday season is approaching, I’m every busy to think for a perfect gift for Erwin. It’s very hard for me to look for certain gifts because he already have everthing he wants to have until I saw these Caricature painting on the mall. I began to think of Anime figures that he adores. I can’t chose among the two anime, Dragon Ball or Macross so I decided to do two caricature for him . - 12/2006

KAYA CHALLENGE 2

This is my FIRST digital challenge since I joined Pinoyscrapbookers. At first I thought the requirements were hard but with the help of my friend everything turned out to be quick and easy. After 5 hours of facing the computer I was able to produce what I wanted. New to digital scrapbooking, this is a good experience for me. Joining this KAYA challenge helped me to improve my artistic skill and creative ideas to explore with the free stuffs that I downloaded. My sincerest thanks to the people who kept on convincing me to join. Without your inspiring encouragement I still wouldn't produce an outcome.

Techniques:
I converted the paper and pictures from colored to black and white. Added 3 layers of pictures to my focal photo. Used inner shadow effect together with blue ghost to have blue effect on the pictures. Removed the background of my 2 remaining photos. The blue strip was placed for my journal. Added some blue embellishments like the ribbons and pattern papers.

Elizabeth's LO

Elizabeth ask me to do these digital layout for her. These was supposed to be the entry for Working Mom's Quality Time Challenge last May. As you all know my kumare Elizabeth loves to join contest and challenge, everytime there is a challenge, don't forget to check Zabeth's entry. Sad to say, they are not allowed because the entry should be traditional and not digital scrapbooking.

Cristina Layout

Out of nowhere, I just want to do this for one of my good friend Cristina. My partner in everything down to games, to our common problems and puzzle. She said, I influence her a lot. I was the one who told her Nintendo DS and palm. Now she was totally hooked with it. This girl loves to play. Her bag was always heavy and full of gadgets and chargers. Thanks to me who introduce to her the love of playing games. Tried scrapbooking also but it seems to interest.
