September Doodle Challenge at Digital Freebies

For the previous day, I got interested joining international challenge from digital freebies. I've been downloading freebies from this site but never try to join any single challenge until one day I began thinking it would be fun if I jumped into the forum and show some of my digital works. So far I uploaded three layout under this site. Do check out my entries.

SWIM to the cold beach of Calatagan, Batangas was one of the exciting part of our vacation here. We want to explore the beauty of God’s creation, the waves and nature. I totally miss wearing swim suits and soak in the cold sand and feel the waves splashing all over me. Erwin please promise me that we will find time to go outing again.

Two Culture Unite As 1

TGIFriday!! another challenge from digital freebies". It took me a very hard time to do this challenge. When I saw the kit, I said to myself oh no... How can I produce a nice layout for this kit. The PPS aren't that pretty as compare to previous. Barely one day in the making but still I'm not TOTALLY satisfied with the outcome. But still my sincere thanks to you Dee for editing our picture, and to Nita for the TIPS.

Joining an international challenge is so fun. You can feature your creative layout to the other users of the forum. Here's the outcome of my very first international challenge.

On our way to Catalagan, Batangas I got amazed with the beautiful trees on the road. I immediately told Erwin to stop the car, grabbed my camera and step down the car as fast as I could because there are a lot of people waiting for us inside the car.
The trees are arranged uniformly and the color of the stems and branches are so unique. I don't know if they are man made or natural.
I wish I can go back to this place again and explore the beauty of the scenery and the fresh air that we inhale keeps me stress free.

Do check out the comments from fellow users.

My Dear Mom

A beautiful and pretty layout for my beloved mom. You are the reason why I grow up with good family values. I thank you for bringing the best in me together with the rest of my siblings.

Materials: Flores Kit by Lively

Techniques: Double Matt the photo. Use magic eraser to delete the white portion of the paper to look like paper tear effect. Add another layer to look like an overlay. For the finishing touch add some swirls, stitching and title.

Kaya 5 Entry

Layering was one of my favorite while doing my digital layouts. When I saw this challenge, I got excited to do it as soon as I can. I finish this LO in a flash less than an hour to be exact. Layering 10 digital papers is very much easily as compare to traditional one. No mess and the sheet of papers were cut uniformly.

Finally... I was able to convinced Erwin to have a weekend break, we grabbed the long weekend to drove all the way ro Catalagan, Batangas to relax ourselves. The climate was colder as compare to the hot and sunny weather of Manila. We can breathe normally with the fresh air that we can feel. The place was so cozy, relaxing enough to relief stress and tensions. We both agreed to left our own GADGETS to have quality time for each other. Thank you Erwin for leaving his TOYS for me.
At Batangas, we were able to relax and feel the comfort of one another. My heart was filled with joy and laughters to the stories and moments we shared that will last a lifetime.
